Get top notch instructions in learning the Chicago-Style Stepping dance: techniques, turns, combinations, variations and more. Our instructors are trained in the dance and will help you take your dance to the next level. Instructors are Wanda Trotter and Glyn Anderson. Beginners and ALL LEVELS are WELCOME!

If you are looking for line dancing in the Space Coast/Brevard County area, then you have landed on the right page! Line dancing is a great way to get everyone out on the dance floor. We teach the latest trending dances as well as the most popular line dances including The Electric Slide, The Cha Cha Slide, The Wobble and more! Our mission is fitness and fun through dancing. We hope to see you soon!

COST: This class is sponsored by Brevard County Department of Parks and Recreation, so it is FREE to attend. Staffing, venue and other expenses are covered by sponsorship however donations of any amount to the instructors and to the cooks are accepted via.

You don't have to dance to join us for Wine Down Wednesday!

You're invited to join our Stepping Class from 7pm to 8:30pm and then join us for some fun Line Dancing.


Otherwise, you're welcome to relax and sip on a glass of wine or enjoy a cigar. Outdoor seating is available.

NOTE: The lounge is NOT a smoke- filled environment due to adequate ventilation and filters!

WHAT WE DO



We offer a classy and elegant experience for mature adults! Dance can have many purposes including physical fitness, expression, communication, education, therapy, recreation, and entertainment, so come and experience the enjoyment! We foster a cultural and family-like camaraderie.



STUDY & STYLE



Chicago-Style Stepping is our primary art form. It is a culture and lifestyle for some. We include line dancing other dance styles. We take group trips, support affiliate Stepping organizations, and participate in community and charitable events.



EVENTS



You do NOT need to be a Stepper to attend any of our events or have any dancing experience at all. Whether you have two left feet, just like to let loose, or enjoy other dance styles, we ensure there's music for everyone.



CLASSES



STEPPING: Instructor-led Stepping lessons All levels (beginner to advanced) at Leaf Lounge.


LINE DANCING: Join us Tuesday evenings to learn popular and trending line dances and to enjoy some of the oldie goldies. If you're looking to have some fun, you're in the right place!

WANDA TROTTER



CEO/Instructor



Wanda has performed in art, music, acting and dance since childhood. She began singing at the age of 6, piano at 9 and trumpet at 12. She attended Bethune-Cookman University on a music scholarship was their first female trumpeter in the marching band.


Professionally, Wanda is a Paralegal, web/app developer, life coach, speaker and entrepreneur.


Among all of her interests, she is most passionate about the art of dance.



ERIC GREEN



Lead Instructor



Eric Green is a St. Petersburg native who grew up in Titusville. He majored in physics at Florida A&M University.


Currently Eric is a retired engineer for NASA and is the founder of a youth program in Brevard County that teaches Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) careers.


He LOVES dancing! Eric is skilled in teaching the art of Stepping and can help you master your dance.



ERICA RAYMORE



Program Director



Ms. Raymore oversees program planning and strategy of the Viera/Melbourne group.


Erica Raymore is a high school educator and business owner in Melbourne Florida. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, cooking and dancing. Her professional goals are to continually acquire real estate and her personal goal is to become a better dancer. Erica's biggest accomplishment is raising three wonderful kids!



ZORITA YOUNG



Senior Administrator



Zorita assists in program planning and strategy of the Titusville chapter.


She has been a musician since childhood, participating in dancing contests, playing saxophone, and continues to sing in various choirs. Zorita loves line dancing, Stepping, Ballrooming and more!

STEPPERS BIRTHDAY DANCE





Every month we have a dance celebrating all the birthdays for that month. At a designated time, the DJ makes an announcement and everyone who is having a birthday that month will line up side by side and then everybody else will get in a line and take turns dancing with the birthday folks.
